Tenants’ and Residents’ Association
If you like singing, join the new Brunswick singing group which will meet in the Community Room (10 Foundling Court, access via Doorway 1) at 6.30pm on Wednesdays from today, 8 September. The Mayor of Camden is due to come along tonight to get the group off to a flying start. It has been organised by Isobel McMillan on behalf of the Brunswick Tenants and Residents Association. You can contact Isobel for more details (67 Foundling Court or isobel.mcmillan@phonecoop.coop).
Singer and actor Debora Collister will be leading us in a range of songs from around the world, including traditional, modern, pop and show tunes. You don’t need to be able to read music or have any experience in a choir – just join in and sing!
Thanks to the TRA, we are now the proud possessors of a table tennis table & badminton kit, which is kept in the Brunswick community room at 10 Foundling Court. It is there to be used, so if you and your family and friends would like to have a go please contact Stuart Tappin at st@standengineers.eu. It would be great if we could find an adult volunteer willing to oversee a weekly session in the community room, so that as many people as possible can use the equipment, which was purchased with a grant from Camden.
Volunteers are needed to be part of a residents panel, to make sure that the forthcoming Decent Homes improvement work is carried out properly. The panel would meet monthly to review progress and flag up issues with the work. The first meeting will be in mid-August. If you can help please contact Desmond Pitter at Desmond.Pitter@camden.gov.uk
