Camden Leaseholders' Forum
All Camden leaseholders are invited to attend a meeting of the Camden Leaseholders’ Forum, an independent group speaking for those paying service charges to Camden Council and tackling major issues to improve council services.
Current areas of work include
– improving the information on bills, so you can easily check what you are expected to pay.
– better offers for those who face losing their homes through regeneration or HS2
– working with those responsible for procuring new contracts for large-scale works to ensure that they are clear, enforceable, enforced and do not allow contractors to inflate costs for poorly executed works
– clear guidance on service charges, both what is chargeable and how the calculations are made and explained.
The Forum is keen to involve leaseholders and recruit more members, so if you would like your views taken into account do go along to the next meeting which takes place at 6.45pm on Tuesday 5th May at Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, WC1H 9JE. If you would like to join their mailing list please email email@example.com with subscribe in the subject line.
